So June has been a rather good month, May was just terrible so it was refreshing to get a break from the bad stuff. So on the 5th of June i sat my last As level exam which was Dance, and i cannot tell you how relieved i am! The exam didn't really go too well but I'm not going to dwell on it. I then had 3 dance shows in 2 days, my college dance show and another one with my dance school. I didn't really enjoy either, the college one was way too stressful and the other one i just didn't get the usual buzz out of. And then for a week after i was physically exhausted and couldn't do a whole day in college, i think it took it out of me too much.

Then last week as you would've seen, i did Race For Life which is one of the highlights of this month. It was the post before this so you can scroll down and have a look if you so wish:) It was an amazing experience and im so glad i did it, i recommend to anyone to do it even if they haven't been affected by Cancer, its an incredible atmosphere and you will feel so good about yourself!
Yesterday i finished college for the summer which i am super happy about. College hasn't been as bad as school but it takes it out of me more physically than emotionally. It doesn't seem real that Ive already finished my first year, it seems like last month i had just started. I'm not saying i want to go back and do it all again, because i really don't!
I have 2 and a half months off now and I've set myself a few goals and projects to do which i no doubt will blog about:)
So today, being the first day of my summer holidays, it rained. Bloody brilliant! Its been so nice the last couple of weeks and then when I'm finally free it rains, fabulous. I had to walk the dog in it and i haven't been eating healthily today either and i feel a bit crap.
I planted some seeds at the weekend and they've already started to grow which excites me (haha i know, I'm a grandpa).
I have my Grade 8 ballet exam tomorrow which I'm nervous about, but i know it much better than i knew grade 7 so hopefully it will go better! After that then i don't really have anything else to do, i guess i need to scrub up on my Highway Code for when i take my theory in many months time:)
Other than that, im in a good mood:)

Today, 22nd June 2014 i ran my second Race For Life in memory of my Grandpa. There are so many things that i wish to say about this event and the cause, all of which drive me to want to raise as much money as i can to help the Cancer research guys do further research into the disease and eventually find cures for all 200 plus cancers.
Last year, i decided to do Race For Life as i knew people who had done it and they all had said what an amazing experience it is, and i was aware of my Grandpas condition.
The atmosphere is indescribable, its one which makes you want to cheer and woop with a tissue in your hand. There are thousands of girls and women who all have a common goal- to kick Cancers ass. Everyone is supportive of one another despite being total strangers, it brings people together in a way no other event can. If someone had a loose shoe lace, someone would let them know, if someone looked exhausted someone would offer them some of their drink - everyone is united and are creating such a huge force that Cancer wouldn't dare mess with. There was people who had come to the last kilometre to clap and cheer everyone on, even people they werent there to support, everyone felt the encouragement and when you pass the finish line you are made to feel like you have achieved something incredible and priceless, because all 1913 women who ran today did just that.
As the host or commentator said, if everyone there had raised just £10 then we would have raised £19,130, which is AMAZING!
Sadly last year, 2 hours after i had completed Race For Life my grandpa passed away suddenly of the disease. The anniversary of his death is tomorrow on the 23rd, and i really hope ive made him proud this year by beating my race time(by 3 minutes but hey, its better;)) and raising money for a cause he also worked really close with.
Here are some of the pictures i took, i love the fact it was really sunny, although it made it harder to run, it made the atmosphere even more amazing.
Summer needs its own bucket list because its over 2 solid months of free time to do loads of fun things, and i need plenty of things to do!
As you may or may not know, at the start of this year i posted my annual bucket list (which i haven't done alot of haha), and summer is the perfect time to do most of these things. I wanted to condense it down and just have a few things so I'm not overwhelmed with so many things i can do, and which are all specific to summer. So here we go!
- Run Race for Life (kind of cheating because i did that today;))
- Go to the beach - more than once and to different beaches
- Create a summer playlist
- Dye hair bright colours
- Use a disposable camera
- Build a massive sandcastle
- Buy something from an ice cream van
- Have a sleepover
- Explore the countryside with Georgie
- Grow a sunflower
- Have a Disney movie marathon- essential in my eyes :)
- Not give a damn- about ANYTHING
- Lose 8 pounds, or at least tone up - workout 5 times a week
- Spend at least an hour outside each day, maybe not if its pouring it down;)
- Go for a day out to somewhere completely new
This is alot less daunting to look at, i WILL do all of these things and either post them here, on twitter or on my Instagram which you can find in the side bar :)
I hope this has given you some inspiration for your summer bucket list, let me know what you will do!
Have a good summer everybody:)

I'm a massive fan of lip products and recently i decided to try a Color Boost by Bourjois. I know alot of brands have brought out these lipsticks in the form of a twist-up stick and i have one from Loreal which i absolutely love as well, and i went for a Bourjois Color Boost as id heard alot of great things about them, and they are a reasonable price of £7.99. The first thing i noticed whilst at the Bourjois stand was the beautiful range of colours available, they were all really summery and in all honesty i wish i could have them all!
Now i was looking for a colour that i could wear everyday without it being too bold, and Peach On the Beach seemed like the perfect colour for me. Its a gorgeous mix of baby pink and peach and I've never seen a colour quite like it.
The consistency is very light and there is no need to worry about lip liner as its basically like a balm, you don't have to be precise at all when applying this product as its quite sheer. Despite it having a balm consistency, it has a good colour pay-off, although the advertising is a bit false, it claims to last for 10 hours when in actual fact it probably only lasts for 2-3 hours which i don't mind as i like to top up my lipstick every couple of hours.
The only downside to this product is the writing comes of so quickly so now its just a pink tube with nothing on, which is a shame considering the price, although my Loreal one has also done this so maybe its just the general type of packaging and writing the brands use, its not the end of the world though and it doesn't downgrade the actual product.
You can buy it online here: http://www.boots.com/en/Bourjois-Paris-Colour-Boost-Lip-Crayon_1359125/
All in all, i love this lip product. Ive been wearing it non stop and its my go to lipstick at the moment
